No-one wants disengaged employees in their business. They are generally unhappy at work, unmotivated and often toxic to your team culture.
When it comes to employee engagement, there’s one important point to remember. You must involve them, find out what they’re looking for, what they need and what they want. Solicit their feedback on possible engagement initiatives.
And find ways to involve them in the decision-making process whenever possible. You don’t necessarily have all the answers and putting a number of heads together on any issue creates synergy and more suggestions, ideas and solutions than one person could devise on their own.
